Daily Post 20 minutes 1 mins read

Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has said it is “normal” for Vinicius Junior to react angrily to being substituted during their Champions League clash at Roma.

Vinicius Jr was taken off as Madrid fought back from 3-1 down to in 4-3 and replaced with Endrick.

As he walked towards the bench, Vinicius Jr could be heard saying, “why does he take me off?”

After the game, Mourinho was asked about the incident and he said: “It’s normal. Obviously it is something I do not like.

“But it’s normal for a player to be frustrated when subbed off.

“He was happy after the game.”

Vinicius Jr is now set to serve a four-match ban for the red card he picked up against Villarreal in LaLiga.
