Turkish football pundit, Serdar Ali Çelikler, has criticised Victor Osimhen after Galatasaray’s Champions League 4-1 defeat to Barcelona on Tuesday.
According to Çelikler, Osimhen failed to score or do center-forward play against Barcelona at Rams Park.
Goals from João Cancelo, Fermín López, Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi gave Flick’s side the victory against Galatasaray.
“Osimhen couldn’t do either goalscoring or center-forward play today. That is why I liked Leao,” Çelikler said, as quoted by NEO Spor.
“He came and took balls with his back to the goal. Osimhen couldn’t do these today, and Galatasaray needed this in this match.”
Osimhen will now hope to lead Galatasaray to victory when they face Gençlerbirliği in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
