UCL: They worked well – Mourinho hails two Real Madrid players after Inter win

Daily Post 1 day 1 mins read

Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has hailed two of his players following their UEFA Champions League 2-1 victory against Inter Milan on Tuesday.

Speaking at his post-match interview, Mourinho said Trent Alexander-Arnold and Fede Valverde worked very well against Inter Milan.

Two goals from Kylian Mbappé and Valverde gave Mourinho’s side the victory against the Serie A club at Santiago Bernabéu.

“Trent played very well and interpreted what he had to do from a tactical point of view. Both he and Valverde worked very well against the runs of Jones and Barella.

“He had some ball losses because it’s not the same to play with the field in front of you as it is to have part of the field in front and part behind.”

Real Madrid’s next match is against Rayo Vallecano in the LaLiga on Saturday.
