UNILAG’s English dept alumni holds maiden reunion

The University of Lagos, UNILAG, Department of English Alumni, UDEA, has fixed her maiden reunion programmes for Friday, July 17 and Saturday 18.

A statement by Mrs Lechi Eke, UDEA Public Relations Officer, PRO, noted that Friday Friday would be for a lecture at Afe Babalola Hall, UNILAG, by 11 a.m., while day 2, Saturday, is reunion dinner at 81 Division Officers’ Mess, Lagos Island, at 5 p.m.

The UDEA Exco had announced that on Saturday, June 20, its Board of Trustees was formally inaugurated during an extraordinary meeting.

“The meeting,” UDEA President, Dr. Akamo Princewill said, “was highly productive and engaging, as our respected elders brought their vast wealth of experience and invaluable insights to bear on charting a clear path forward for the Association.”

Members of the Board are Prof. Akachi Ezeigbo, Prof. Hope Eghagha, Prof. Oko Okoro, Prof. Austin Nwagbara, Mr. Ademola Ipenko, Mr. Nat Osewele, Mr. William Benson, and Mr. Kola Ologbodiyan.
