Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has ordered the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, to enter his defence if he so desires in his ongoing trial over his alleged unlawful interception of the telephone communications of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu.
Justice Abdulmalik issued the order while ruling on a no-case submission made by El-Rufai.
The Judge dismissed the no-case submission because there is sufficient evidence furnished by the prosecution to warrant the court calling on the defendant to enter his defence if he so desires.
The judge adjourned till November 25 for defense.
