Economist Paul Alaje has challenged contestants in next year’s presidential election to propose policies that will enhance productivity in the country.
Alaje, a Senior Economist at SPM Professionals, spoke during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
“Anybody who is not discussing productivity is going to run the economy down,” he said on the show.
When asked what Nigerians should look out for when choosing their candidates for the 2027 election, he said, “Any candidate who is telling you that the money in your pocket will buy more, will improve more, and will afford your rent – that is the candidate you should vote for.”
