The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has warned governors and other members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council against celebrating victory in the 2027 presidential election if they fail to secure their states for President Bola Tinubu.

Wike issued the warning on Wednesday in Abuja during the inauguration of the campaign council, shortly after he was named coordinator for the FCT and Rivers State.

He urged members of the council to take responsibility for delivering their respective areas, stressing that every member had a role to play in securing Tinubu’s re-election, regardless of their position in the campaign structure.
