The Lagos State governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has promised to tackle street thuggery by providing alternative pathways for those involved to become productive members of society.

Speaking on the Independence Day edition of The Platform, Rhodes-Vivour said his administration would seek to take thugs off the streets by creating opportunities for them to contribute positively to society.

“We are going to take thugs off the streets [in Lagos] by giving them a different pathway to become productive members of the society,” he said.
