WAFCON 2026: Full list of award winners

Cameroon have won the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, for the first time in their history.

The Indomitable Lionesses thrashed debutants, Malawi 3-0 in Sunday’s final.

They have now been crowned champions after several weeks of thrilling football in Morocco.

Following a memorable tournament, several players and teams were recognised for their outstanding performances.

The individual awards were dominated by Cameroon as expected.

Here is the full list of winners from the 2026 WAFCON:

Champions: Cameroon

Runners-up: Malawi

Top Scorer: Temwa Chawinga

Player of the Tournament: Monique Ngock

Best Goalkeeper: Michaely Bihina

Fair Play Award: Algeria

Player of the Final: Marie Ngah Manga
