Zambia head coach, Nora Häuptle, has warned Nigeria that her team knows the strength of the Super Falcons ahead of both sides’ CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, clash tonight.
Zambia will be looking to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the WAFCON when they take on Nigeria in Rabat on Saturday night.
Speaking at her pre-match press conference, Häuptle said: “Nigeria needs to win to stay alive in this tournament.
“They started their match against Malawi very well and created several chances. We know their strength, and we know they are capable of raising their level.
“We are focused on ourselves. We have a very clear plan to face them. If it is executed precisely on the pitch, we are convinced that we can beat Nigeria.”
