Water supply disrupted in parts of Western Accra after major pipeline damaged

Ghana Water Ltd (GWL) has announced a temporary disruption in water supply to several communities in Western Accra following damage to a major transmission pipeline serving the area. The disruption was caused by the bursting of a 500mm-diameter main pipeline during excavation works being undertaken by AWERCO Construction Ltd.
