‘We won’t tolerate attacks on our soldiers’ – Israeli PM Netanyahu warns

Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has warned that Israel would not tolerate attacks on its soldiers.

Netanyahu issued the warning on Friday in a statement as he offered condolences to the families of a commander and three fighters killed by Hezbollah.

Israel had earlier reported the killing of four of its troops.

He revealed that following the attack by Hezbollah, which he described as a blatant violation of the ceasefire, he had instructed the Israeli military to strike Hezbollah with full force.

“We won’t tolerate attacks on our soldiers. The Israeli military attacked more than 80 terrorist targets and eliminated dozens of terrorists. Subsequently, the military struck Hezbollah headquarters in the Bekaa Valley this morning,” he said.

According to the PM, the Israeli military would act to thwart any threat to their forces and their territory.

“As I made unequivocally clear, including yesterday: Israel will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as required to protect the settlements in the north,” he added.
