The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has come under public scrutiny following his endorsement of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
DAILY POST reports that Adeleke, who was re-elected on Saturday after winning the keenly contested governorship election, had publicly endorsed the president.
In an interview on Channels TV on Sunday, Adeleke declared that his support for President Tinubu is merely because he is a Yoruba man
The comment, however, did not go down well with some of his supporters who took to their social media handles to express their disappointment on the matter.
Some of the angry supporters on X, said they are disappointed in the governor, stating that Adeleke betrayed the Osun people who made sacrifices for the governor’s re-election.
