When are you bringing the children back – Moment VDM questioned Gov Makinde [VIDEO]

Daily Post about 2 hours 2 mins read

Activist, Martins Vincent Otse, AKA VeryDarkMan, on Tuesday questioned the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on when the abducted pupils and teachers will be rescued.

VDM had led a large number of protesters predominantly youths to the Government House, demanding urgent action to rescue the abducted pupils and teachers.

In a video clip going viral, VDM could be seen telling the governor that his supporters, the Ratel Movement, are ready to storm the kidnappers’ den to rescue the victims.

He said, “We are here for one reason, we want kidnapping, banditry and terrorism to stop in Nigeria.

“It’s quite unfortunate that the issue that brought us here happened in Oyo State but does not start here. I’m happy that this one is bringing us together.

“We are here to ask you, the governor, when are the children coming back? What are you doing to bring the children back?

“We are here to also commit ourselves that if you don’t have men, we are ready to volunteer ourselves to go into the bushes with the police, army, and any security agencies that are ready to go into the bush.

“As it is now, we don’t even know the condition of the children, we don’t know if the children are still alive.”

Responding, the governor assured that the victims will be rescued soon.
