WHO welcomes UK's move to ban social media access for children under 16

The World Health Organization (WHO) has welcomed the United Kingdom government 39;s decision to ban children under the age of 16 from accessing social media platforms. WHO Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, expressed support for the policy shortly after British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced the measure on Monday, June 15.
