‘Why collecting money on road’ – Soldier confronts policeman over alleged extortion -[VIDEO]

A mild drama ensued as a Nigerian soldier physically confronted police officers, allegedly extorting money from motorists at a checkpoint.

In the footage, the military man could be heard asking the police officer the rationale behind the extortion.

The soldier could also be seen chasing the police man towards a packed police van along the road.

“Why are you collecting money on the road,” the military man asked.

The policeman was also heard apologising to the army officer while his fellow policemen begged the soldier to leave him.

At the time of filing this report, the identifies of the military and police personnel could not be ascertained.
