Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

Former Brazil defender, Filipe Luis, has snubbed France and named Spain to win the FIFA 2026 World Cup.

Both Spain and France are in the quarter-final stage at the World Cup.

They will face Belgium and Morocco, respectively, in the last-8 fixtures on Thursday and Friday.

When asked about his number one favourites to win the World Cup, Luis said in a press conference (via Diario AS), “I’m going with Spain, but France plays in another league.”

Spain last won the World Cup in 2010 in South Africa, while France won it in 2018 in Russia.
