Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Norway striker, Erling Haaland, has again insisted that France will win the 2026 World Cup tournament.

Haaland said this while speaking on his rivalry with France’s Kylian Mbappe and Argentina’s Lionel Messi for the Golden Boot.

The three players all have seven goals each in the ongoing World Cup so far and are all joint-top scorers.

Speaking to beIN SPORTS after leading Norway to beat Brazil 2-1 in the Round of 16, Haaland was asked about his rivalry with Mbappe and Messi for the Golden Boot.

The Manchester City attacker said, “Yes, it has been very interesting so far.

“Messi is performing at his highest level, and so is Mbappe. As I said before, I think France will win. To be honest, it is an interesting rivalry.

“I am happy to be here and to be able to perform well in the games again and again.”
