Daily Post 1 day 1 mins read

Arsenal forward, Leandro Trossard, is now the sixth Arsenal player to deliver an assist at the 2026 World Cup, with no club featuring more assist providers at the tournament than the Gunners.

Trossard provided an assist in Belgium’s 3-2 comeback victory over Senegal in the World Cup Round of 32 earlier today.

He played 109 minutes for Belgium and set up teammate Youri Tielemans for a late equalizer before his team went on to win the match in extra time.

A goal from Romelu Lukaku and a brace from Tielemans gave Belgium the win against Senegal.

Belgium is now through to the World Cup Round of 16 stage and will face co-host nation USA next week.

Here are list of Arsenal players with assists at the World Cup so far:

Martin Ødegaard – 3 assists

Viktor Gyökeres – 2 assists

Bukayo Saka – 2 assists
