World Cup: He reminds me of Zidane – John Terry names England player dragging team

Chelsea legend, John Terry, has identified Jude Bellingham as the England player dragging the Three Lions through at the moment.

According to Terry, Bellingham reminds him of former France midfielder Zinedine Zidane.

The former England defender spoke to

FIFA podcast ahead of England’s World Cup semi-final fixture with Argentina on Wednesday.

“I said at the start of this World Cup, Jude Bellingham reminds me of Zidane,” Terry said.

“He’s dragging this team through at the moment. I think he’s world-class. Also, you listen to him off the pitch, he’s got a real calmness about him as well.”

Bellingham has netted six goals for Thomas Tuchel’s side so far at the World Cup.
