World Cup: ‘With a bit of luck’ – Simon Jordan predicts country to win trophy

Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

Former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan has confidently asserted that France is the strongest team in the tournament.

He believes that either the French team or the squad that defeats them will ultimately win the 2026 World Cup.

Speaking on Piers Morgan’s Sports Uncensored, he said, “I maintain that if you manage to defeat France, you will win the World Cup.

“Despite the prevailing sense of pessimism that appears to have enveloped the England camp, I have a hunch that with a bit of luck, England can clinch the World Cup.

“I am going to firmly express my support; while I won’t place any bets, I will declare that England will emerge victorious.”.

Both France and Argentina have won all their matches during the tournament this summer.

Although England did not secure a victory against Ghana, they still advanced from their group unbeaten and finished in first place.
