Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has accused supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, of putting their personal interests ahead of the country.
Edochie made the claim in a social media post while declaring her support for Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
“If you are supporting APC, it means you are just after your pockets not for the betterment of our country Nigeria,” she wrote.
The actress also urged Nigerians to reject vote buying and political thuggery during the election.
“Say no to vote buying, say no to political thuggery, say no to grabbing, snatching and running with the people’s mandate,” Edochie stated.
She further called on Nigerians to support what she described as “capacity” while endorsing Obi and Kwankwaso’s political platform ahead of the 2027 election.
