‘You’re thanking those who planned against you’ – Izzy Ogbeide tackles Adeleke for endorsing Tinubu

Daily Post about 2 hours 2 mins read

Social media influencer, Izzy Ogbeide, has questioned Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke over his decision to endorse President Bola Tinubu after winning the governorship election.

Ogbeide raised the issue in a video posted on her Instagram handle, questioning Adeleke’s decision to support Tinubu after the political tensions surrounding the Osun election.

She also questioned Adeleke’s earlier position on the 2027 presidential election and his decision to thank the President for what he described as a free and fair election.

“So if you thank him for free and fair election, why did he send 32 governors? What was that scarecrow wey Davido pull for social media, what was all that about?” Ogbeide said.

She recalled comments attributed to Davido that he would no longer endorse any presidential candidate, as well as his criticism of Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

“He said ‘we are not endorsing any President again’, he called out Akpabio as well, what was all that?” she asked.

Ogbeide questioned Adeleke’s decision to thank those she believed had worked against him during the election.

“So after you survived that storm, the next thing was to go thank the people that planned against you?” she said.

She also accused Adeleke of putting political interests ahead of the people of Osun.

“You don’t care about the people, what do you take the people for? You used the people to play politics that openly and disrespectfully,” she said.

“The President you are endorsing is not a member of your party, so what was that about?” she added.
