How Globacom's latest promo brings endless joy to subscribers

Telecoms and digital solutions provider, Globacom, at the weekend revealed that its flourishing business empires are anchored on genuine appreciation of dedicated customers.


This was also as it splashed cash and gift items worth millions of Naira on about 115 strategic partners it considered the pillars of its growth.


The celebration which happened at its 2026 Glo Partners’ Reward Gala, in Eko Hotels Lagos, witnessed the attendance of partners from across the country, millions of Globacom subscribers, brand Ambassadors and top media practitioners.


The ceremony was organised to appreciate the company’s strategic trade and business partners for their loyalty, dedication, and exceptional contributions to the growth of the Glo brand. It also served as a platform to encourage stronger collaboration and greater achievements in the years ahead.


At the event, 115 outstanding dealers who distinguished themselves between January and June 2026 received cash rewards worth millions of naira alongside several other prizes in recognition of their remarkable performance.


Welcoming guests to the gala on behalf of the company, Globacom’s Cluster Head, Lagos 2, AbdulRasaq Ande, described the gathering as a celebration of shared purpose and the enduring partnership that has continued to drive innovation and business success.


“Our partners have, over the years, been the bedrock of the Globacom ecosystem, and their success is our success,” he said, adding that the event recognised not only individual accomplishments but also the synergy and collaborative spirit that have sustained the company’s growth.


Reflecting on Globacom’s journey, Ande noted that the company has enjoyed 23 years of technological innovation and service excellence since commencing operations on August 29, 2003.


He assured partners that Globacom would continue investing heavily in next-generation technologies, expanding its infrastructure and strengthening its network to maintain high-quality service delivery.


The company also unveiled its latest customer-focused initiatives aimed at delivering greater value to subscribers. Chief among them is the More Data More Value proposition, which is designed to ensure that every naira spent by customers delivers greater digital value, further reinforcing Globacom’s reputation for affordability and customer empowerment.


Partners were equally updated on the company’s technical and marketing milestones over the past year, as well as new innovations introduced to enhance customer experience. Among these is Gloria, the AI-powered Glo Café voice assistant, which provides customer support in six languages to improve engagement and service delivery.


Globacom equally highlighted the expansion of its Borrow Me Credit service, ensuring subscribers remain connected even when they have insufficient airtime.


In addition, the Glo Café platform is being upgraded to provide subscribers with richer and more seamless online experiences.


Beyond the business presentations, the evening offered guests an atmosphere of elegance and entertainment. One of the most anticipated moments was the “Rep Your Region” Best Dressed Competition, where participants showcased colourful traditional attires from different parts of the country.


Alamin Muhammed Suleiman of Benjee Communication and Anthonia Agbasi of Chicadef Global Limited emerged winners in the male and female categories, respectively, receiving ¦ 500,000 each.


Entertainment came from renowned Nigerian singer and live band performer, Segun Johnson, while popular comedian Gordons kept guests laughing as master of ceremonies, with support from television personality and brand influencer, Moet Abebe.


Expressing appreciation on behalf of fellow dealers, Managing Director of Demmy Global Resources, Mr. Ademola Akinlabi and Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya of Lambadaya Stores commended Globacom for consistently recognising excellence among its partners. They praised the company for rewarding dealers across several categories with cars, millions of naira in cash, and other incentives.


The event, which continued into the early hours of Friday, once again underscored Globacom’s unwavering commitment to rewarding excellence, strengthening partnerships and working closely with its dealers to deliver superior products and services to customers across Nigeria.
