2026 Ballon d’Or: What will happen if I don’t win it – Mbappe

Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe, has admitted he would be disappointed not to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

Mbappe has been included among the final 30 nominees for the award and is regarded as one of the favourites to win it.

However, the France captain is facing strong competition from the likes of Lamine Yamal, Rodri, Harry Kane and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

“I can really feel it’s a good year for me,” Mbappe told RFI.

“I would be disappointed to not win it. When a competitor doesn’t win, he is disappointed.

“I am competitive!”

Mbappe finished as the top scorer in the Champions League, LaLiga and World Cup.
