Roberto Martinez will step down as the head coach of the Portugal national team after the 2026 World Cup.
According to talkSPORT, Martinez will leave his role after the tournament, regardless of how the team performs.
The former Everton manager has already decided not to renew his contract, which expires after the tournament.
He is open to a Premier League return, but has not ruled out taking another international job either.
Portugal will open their World Cup campaign against the Democratic Republic of Congo on Wednesday night.
