2027: ADC affirms Dandare Maqera as Arewa/Dandi Reps candidate

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has affirmed Hon. Muhammad Dandare Maqera as its candidate for the House of Representatives seat representing Arewa/Dandi Federal Constituency of Kebbi State in the 2027 elections.

The affirmation exercise was held on Tuesday in Kamba, headquarters of Dandi Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

The exercise was conducted by an ADC committee led by its chairman, Dr Salihu Muhammad Danjimma, alongside the Secretary-General, Umar Abdullahi, and other members of the committee.

Representatives of the Kebbi State ADC leadership, including the State Vice Chairman, Musa Dagwaya Argungu; State Organising Secretary, Isah Izamzam; and State Auditor, Bello Muhammad, were also present.

Representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from Arewa and Dandi Local Government Areas attended the exercise, alongside representatives of security agencies.

The exercise was also attended by ADC executives and members from Arewa and Dandi, including the chairmen of the party in both local government areas.

Following the exercise, the party declared Dandare Maqera its candidate for the Arewa/Dandi Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 election.
