2027: APC guber candidate, Opah urges Abia residents to verify Otti’s projects

Daily Post 10 minutes 2 mins read

The All Progressive Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Abia State, Eric Opah, has advised residents of Abia State to verify the existing projects executed by the current administration in the state in order to compare them with the publicised achievements of Governor Alex Otti.

According to Opah, such verification will enable Abia residents to differentiate real projects from what he called “audio and  social media” creations.

Opah was speaking in Umuahia on Wednesday when Ikwuano/Umuahia women community leaders declared their support for Abia Central APC senatorial candidate, Emeka Atuma, and other candidates of the party in Abia State.

He said that the true impact of governance is measured by the conditions of the citizens, not from the perspectives of media personalities or social media influencers who were brought in from outside the state.

“You do not need to import people to verify what has been done. For me, Abia people are the ones to verify if at all they have received adequate projects.

“What we will do is to ensure that what they say has been done, has to be in place, not something that is audio.

“We do not need social media to verify for us,” Opah said.

The APC governorship candidate who expressed his confidence in becoming the next Abia State Governor, said his fate is in the hands of the Abia electorate to decide

Earlier in her speech, the leader of Ikwuano/Umuahia women community leaders, Chinyere Ehilegbu, cautioned against the alteration of the existing power sharing arrangement in Abia Central.
