The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it will reopen of its membership electronic-registration across the country on Monday, Aug. 31, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Mr Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, made this known in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
He urged all the party’s stakeholders, supporters and members, old and new, to participate in the exercise which would be conducted in all wards nationwide.
Morka added that existing members were expected to validate their membership, while new and intending members were encouraged to register and join the progressive family.
“Registrants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
“The E-Registration Exercise is designed to digitise the party’s membership register, ensure the integrity of membership records and enhance efficient access to membership data,” he explained.
The spokesman said this was critical for planning and management decisions and to promote internal democracy, while strengthening the party’s commitment to democratic innovation in the country
