2027: I’m not desperate politician, Zamfara’ll give Tinubu maximum votes – Gov Lawal

Daily Post about 2 hours 2 mins read

Zamfara State governor, Dauda Lawal, on Monday, declared that he does not have sleepless nights because he is not a desperate politician.

Lawal disclosed this while addressing journalists in Gusau, the state capital.

According to the governor: “I never had a sleepless night because first of all, I’m not a desperate politician.

“Based on what we have done, I’m 100 percent convinced that by the grace of Allah I have come to change and I sleep very well, I’m happy and healthy.

“That is to tell you that under any circumstances I sleep and I never had any sleepless nights and the state is beginning to see transformation.”

The governor also assured President Bola Tinubu that Zamfara State will give him the maximum number of votes in the state.

He added: “Politics is like a pregnant woman, it’s only when you deliver that you will know the sex of the baby.

“What I’m saying is that by the grace of Almighty Allah we will deliver the maximum number of votes to Mr President and I can’t say of any other state.

“We will give him more than what the state gave him in 2023, so I don’t have any fear.

“I can speak for Zamfara State that we will deliver Tinubu with the greatest number of votes.”
