‘Nigeria was not spoilt by him’ – Hanks Anuku defends Tinubu

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku has defended President Bola Tinubu, saying the President did not create the problems currently facing Nigeria.

Anuku made the statement during an appearance on the Honest Bunch Podcast, where he urged Nigerians to be patient with Tinubu and argued that citizens were too eager to see immediate changes.

He said previous governments had also contributed to the country’s current situation and questioned why Tinubu should be blamed for all of Nigeria’s problems.

“Nigerians should be patient with Tinubu ’cos he’s doing great’. We’re too much in a hurry. The country was not spoilt by him; there were people before him. Why don’t they go and attack those people?” Anuku said.

The actor added, “The devil we know is better than the angel we don’t.”
