Ahead of the 2027 general election, several Nollywood actors including Toyin Abraham, Jide Kosoko, Bukky Wright, Oga Bello, Bimbo Akintola and Eniola Badmus have been named as members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Campaign Council in Lagos State.
The actors were listed under Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate in the list of the APC Campaign Council released on Thursday by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre.
Toke Benson-Awoyinka was appointed as Director of the Directorate, while Kosoko is named Co-Director and Eniola Badmus as Deputy Director.
Ajala Jalingo is listed as Secretary and Dare Olateju as Assistant Secretary.
Other actors on the list include Saheed Balogun, Biola Adebayo, Foluke Daramola, Remi Oshodi, Faithia Balogun, Yinka Quadri, Abey Lanre, Tayo Sobola and Kikelomo Balogun, among others.
