2028 Olympics Qualifier: Comoros unveil squad for Super Falcons showdown

Comoros have announced a 22-player squad for their 2028 Olympic Games second-round qualifying clash against Nigeria’s Super Falcons.

The squad comprises three goalkeepers, five defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards as the island nation prepares for the crucial two-legged encounter.

Both matches will be played at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun State.

Comoros will be the designated hosts for the first leg on Friday, October 9, before Nigeria takes its turn as the home side in the return leg on Tuesday, October 13.

The Comoros players and officials are expected to arrive in Nigeria this weekend ahead of the opening fixture.

The team that emerges victorious on aggregate over the two legs will progress to the third round of the Olympic Games qualifiers.
