38,802 people displaced, 7,761 households affected in Greater Accra floods – Interior Minister

Alhaji Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, the Minister for the Interior, said Monday 39;s (June 29) torrential rains affected 38,802 people and displaced 7,761 households across the Greater Accra Region. He said the floods inundated 25 communities within 18 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), disrupting economic and social activities of thousands of residents.
