Abusing Tinubu is not career – Joe Igbokwe mocks Sowore

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has accused detained activist Omoyele Sowore of making a career out of insulting President Bola Tinubu.
DAILY POST reports that Sowore was on Monday remanded in Kuje Prison over his alleged refusal to appear in court in the ongoing trial regarding a remark he made on his social media handles.

The activist is being prosecuted for allegedly calling the Nigerian president a criminal.

Reacting to the order of the Abuja Federal High Court remanding Sowore, Igbokwe, in a post on his official Facebook page, expressed support for the judgment, stating that abusing Tinubu “is not a career.”

The APC chieftain also claimed that Sowore had taken the law into his own hands, citing several protests organised by the activist.

He wrote: “Nigeria is not a lawless country. Sowore has taken the law into his hands for years now. Protests on the streets, disturbing public peace, abusing law enforcement officers, encouraging killers in the South East, abusing PBAT, these are not a career.”
