Accra Pilgrims Expected to Begin Return Journey from Saudi Arabia on June 19

The airlift of Ghanaian pilgrims returning from the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage is expected to commence on Friday, June 19, according to an update from the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG). In a statement issued by Mohammed Amin Lamptey, Director of Communications at PAOG, preparations for the first return flight to Accra are currently underway, with authorities working to finalize the necessary arrangements for the departure of pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
