Inter Miami captain, Lionel Messi, on Wednesday added the Campeones Cup to his trophy cabinet, his 49th trophy of his career.

Messi lifted the Campeones Cup after Inter Miami defeated Cruz Azul 2-0 in the final.

Goals from Messi and Casemiro gave Inter Miami victory over Cruz Azul at Nu Stadium.

Messi has won trophies at all three clubs — Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Miami — he has played for in his career so far.
