In a rare departure from the norm, the APP-Sobeyaa the newest kid on the block in the NPP grand alliance, has said it will publish the full details of its agreement with the ruling party.
The group’s national spokesperson Ousainou Bobb told The Standard yesterday that the agreement will be made public for transparency and accountability purposes.
“We want Gambians to know what we actually agreed on with the NPP. So the document will be released to the public. We [APP-Sobeyaa] have already signed it but for more transparency, we want to send the document to them [NPP] so that they can sign every page before we upload the document,” the spokesperson said.
He confirmed that the agreement was signed by him on behalf of the APP while Demba Sabally, deputy national president of the NPP signed for his party.
He said the agreement will be published this week.
