Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Fabian Ruiz, has expressed his desire to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

The Spain international said it would be an honour for him if he were in the running to win the Ballon d’Or.

Ruiz has had a wonderful season so far, having won both the World Cup and Champions League with Spain and PSG.

The 30-year-old is increasingly being mentioned as a genuine contender for the Ballon d’Or following the conclusion of the World Cup.

“Who wouldn’t want to win a Ballon d’Or? I’m happy with the season I have had, winning the Champions League and the World Cup,” Ruiz told reporters as per Marca.

“If I’m in the running, it will be an honour.”
