Bandits release video of abducted Kaduna couple, baby, demand N300m ransom

Daily Post about 2 hours 2 mins read

Bandits have released a disturbing video showing an abducted couple and their baby daughter in captivity in Kaduna State.

They are demanding a ransom of N300 million.

The victims were reportedly kidnapped on Monday, October 5, 2026, when armed bandits invaded Alrahus Estate in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A pregnant woman was also reportedly among those abducted.

The abducted man, identified as Ahmad Abubakar Zakka, was seen appealing to members of the public to help secure his family’s freedom.

His wife was seated beside him with their daughter in the disturbing footage, which showed one of the armed kidnappers pointing an AK-47 rifle at Zakka’s head and threatening to kill him.

Zakka was also seen holding one hand in a position that appeared to restrict his movement, while his right hand appeared swollen.

His wife looked visibly distressed as the family pleaded for help from the public.

Speaking in the video, Zakka identified himself and appealed to Nigerians to intervene, expressing hope that they would be rescued from their captors.

“My name is Ahmad Abubakar Zakka. I am seeking help from God, and I am asking you to come to our aid. I was taken away on Monday,” he said.

He subsequently disclosed that the kidnappers were demanding N300 million as ransom, urging the public to help his family regain their freedom.

“Please, I am pleading for help. Please help me, help me. They are demanding a ransom of N300 million. Please come to our aid and help us,” Zakka pleaded.
