Bandits use RPG to turn semolina in camp [Video]

Daily Post 1 day 1 mins read

Bandits have reportedly used a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) to turn semolina into a meal, according to a video shared on social media.

The video was shared on Sunday by conflict reporter and advocate for a safe society, D English Alhaji, via Facebook.

The footage purportedly shows the bandits preparing semolina with an RPG launcher.

The development comes amid continued concerns over the activities of armed groups in parts of northern Nigeria, where bandit attacks, kidnappings and other forms of insecurity have persisted.

Bandit groups have continued to target rural communities, motorists and travellers in several states, with victims often subjected to abductions, killings and attacks on their livelihoods.

DAILY POST reports that security agencies have intensified operations against the groups in the affected areas, while authorities have repeatedly called for greater collaboration between security forces and local communities to tackle insecurity.
