The Super Sand Eagles will face African champions Senegal in a double-header friendly next month as part of their preparations for the 2026 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The two friendly matches are scheduled to take place at the Murtala Muhammed Square Beach Soccer Arena in Kaduna on October 3 and 5, respectively.
The fixtures will serve as crucial preparation for Nigeria’s two-legged AFCON qualifying tie against Ghana’s Black Sharks.
Nigeria will host Ghana in the first leg in Kaduna on Saturday, October 10, before travelling to Accra for the return fixture one week later on Saturday, October 17.
The winner of the two-legged tie will secure qualification for the 2026 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Senegal.
Twenty players are currently in camp in Kaduna as the Super Sand Eagles intensify preparations for the crucial qualifying showdown against the Black Sharks.
