Ben Bruce fails APC senatorial screening

Daily Post about 4 hours 1 mins read

Former lawmaker, Ben Murray Bruce is among those named as having failed the All Progressives Congress, APC, screening exercise for senatorial aspirants.

DAILY POST reports that the APC on Monday released the list of senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the party’s Senate primary elections.

The APC primary election is to be held on Monday across the country.

Bruce is among other failed aspirants drawn from Bayelsa West and Bayelsa East senatorial districts.

Those not cleared from Bayelsa include, Donald Daunemigita — Bayelsa West; Sen. Ben Murray Bruce — Bayelsa East and

Sen. Benson S. Agadaga — Bayelsa East

The development means the aspirants will not proceed to the next stage of the party’s nomination process unless otherwise reviewed or reconsidered by the screening committee.
