BoG Governor Dr Johnson Asiama explains why he exited from GoldBod Board about five months ago

Bank of Ghana (BoG) Governor Dr Johnson Asiama has clarified that his position as Governor does not require him to personally serve on the board of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod). According to Dr Asiama, the Ghana Gold Board Act, 2025 (Act 1140), only requires the central bank to have representation on the GoldBod Board.
