Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu (CFR), has hosted the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Lagos, Salem Aljaberi, in an engagement focused on strengthening Nigeria-UAE relations and opening up new opportunities for cooperation, investment and partnership.
The BUA Chairman said he was pleased to receive the UAE envoy and commended his efforts towards deepening ties between both countries.
“It was a great honour to receive His Excellency Salem Aljaberi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Lagos, at my office today,” he said.
The king of commerce said the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the opportunities ahead, expressing optimism that relations between Nigeria and the UAE would continue to grow stronger and deliver meaningful value for both countries.
“It was a pleasure exchanging views on the opportunities ahead. I look forward to seeing the relationship between Nigeria and the UAE continue to grow stronger and deliver meaningful value for both countries,” he revealed.
He also thanked Aljaberi for his visit and “continued commitment to building bridges” between the two nations. The engagement is significant against the backdrop of BUA Group’s expanding footprint in Nigeria’s productive economy.
