Bundesliga: Hamburg gives injury update on Moffi ahead Hoffenheim clash

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Hamburg head coach, Merlin Polzin has offered injury an update on Terem Moffi, DAILY POST reports.

Moffi sustained a knee injury in Hamburg’s last league game against FC Cologne.

The Nigeria international was replaced after the break by Yussuf Poulsen in the encounter.

Polzin is not willing to rush the striker back into action for his side’s Bundesliga clash against TSG Hoffenheim.

“We need to get to know his (Moffi) knee a little better through our work together. The knee reacted a bit more than I initially thought. Now we have to wait and see what happens this week,” Polzin told Kicker.

Moffi is on a season-long loan at Hamburg from French club club, OGC Nice.
