San Pedro head coach, Hassen Bellil, has declared his team ready for the CAF Champions League clash with Rivers United, DAILY POST reports.
Bellil’s side will host the Nigerian club in the first leg at the of the first preliminary round tie at the Laurent Pokou Stadium, San Pedro, on Saturday.
The encounter will kick-off at 4pm local time (5pm Nigeria time).
San Pedro recently returned to their base in Cote d’Ivoire after a training tour in Tunisia.
The gaffer said his team have what it takes to beat their opponents.
“Like all teams, we watched Rivers’ games. We studied the team with our analysis unit. We know they are a good, experienced team. They are a solid team and we have prepared well to face them,” Bellil told a press conference on Friday.
