At least five teams qualified for the Carabao Cup fourth round after Tuesday’s ties.
They are: Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Bradford City and Crystal Palace.
Bradford won 3-1 at Leyton Orient, Bournemouth thrashed Lincoln City and Crystal Palace beat Middlesbrough 3-0.
In the other fixtures, Newcastle edged a narrow 1-0 victory over Millwall and Sunderland also beat Hull City by a 1-0 scoreline.
On Wednesday, Chelsea will host Leeds, as they don’t have any European football this season.
The other Premier League heavyweights will play their third round ties next week.
