Carlos reveals how many years Cristiano Ronaldo can play before retirement

Real Madrid legend, Roberto Carlos, has revealed that Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo can play for another ten years before his retirement from football.

Carlos spoke to AS ahead of Portugal’s Nations League clash with Wales on Thursday night.

“He can play for another 10 years,” Carlos said of Ronaldo.

“He’s a physical phenomenon, he’s happy to be with the Portugal national team, and he has such joy in continuing to play football.”

Ronaldo, at the age of 41, is in the tail-end of his footballing career.

The Portugal forward currently plays his club football at Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, and his eternal rival, Lionel Messi, recently announced his retirement from the Argentina national team.

Ronaldo has played for clubs like Manchester United, Sporting Lisbon, Juventus and Real Madrid.
