Carragher names team that won’t win EPL, Champions League in 2026/2027 season

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has said Manchester United will not win the Premier League or Champions League this season.

Carragher, speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, claimed that United lacks a manager with “stardust”.

The Red Devils will begin the new campaign with Michael Carrick as their permanent manager.

Carrick was put in interim charge of the team after Ruben Amorim was sacked in January, but has since signed a long-term deal.

“I personally just don’t think Michael Carrick’s got that stardust as a manager to win a Champions League or a Premier League.

“He could have a good season and put Manchester United in a position to then go and get a Champions League-winning manager,” Carragher said.
